How Long is the Program
Class Schedule
Classes are held Monday through Friday, either 7:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Learn how to handle various types of wire and rope, tie critical knots, splice lines, and safely operate cranes. You’ll also master the use of essential rigging tools like block and tackle, all integral to commercial diving jobs.
Basic Diving Physics and Medicine
Air Decompression and Chamber Orientation
Master the U.S. Navy Standard Surface Air Decompression Tables and gain practical experience with decompression chambers.
Diving Air and Chamber Systems
Understand and operate air supply systems and decompression chambers that are essential for safe commercial diving operations.
Dive Equipment Maintenance
Learn how to maintain diving masks, helmets, and complete dive stations to ensure equipment operation is efficient.
Marine Equipment Maintenance
Acquire the skills necessary to maintain and troubleshoot essential marine equipment critical to commercial diving operations.
Emergency Procedures
Gain comprehensive training in handling emergencies such as diver rescues, out-of-air situations, loss of communications, first aid, CPR, and the operation of emergency air systems.
Advanced Mixed-Gas Diving
Gain knowledge about the deeper aspects of diving physics and medicine, focusing on mixed-gas use, decompression sickness prevention, and treatment.
Bell and Saturation Diving
Learn advanced deep-sea diving techniques, including the operation of bell diving systems and the procedures for saturation diving.
Underwater Welding and Cutting
Gain practical skills in dry and wet welding techniques with an emphasis on safety, procedures, and industry standards. You’ll also have the chance to earn certifications in underwater welding in accordance with AWS D3.6M.
Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Inspection Techniques
Learn Levels I and II for MT and UT testing, focusing on identifying defects in various materials used in commercial diving operations.
Nondestructive Testing (NDT)
Gain practical hands-on experience with underwater inspection techniques to assess submerged structures for integrity.
Job Search and Interview Skills
Receive guidance on job search strategies, crafting effective resumes, and mastering interview techniques to boost your chances of securing a diving job.
Industry Overview and History
