Commercial Diving Certification
Commercial divers build, inspect, and repair the world’s subsea infrastructure. Our commercial diver training program teaches you what it takes to dive into this exciting career path, including underwater welding, saturation diving, and equipment operation.

How long does it take to become a certified commercial diver?
Our Ultimate Diver Training program takes approximately 30 weeks, including classroom sessions, pool sessions, and open water training.
What employment opportunities are available?
Commercial divers work on oil rigs, in ship husbandry, infrastructure construction, and nuclear facility maintenance. Employment opportunities exist throughout the United States and internationally.
Do I need prior diving experience to enroll?
No prior experience is required. Our commercial diving school trains students from beginner through professional diver certification, including saturation diving and underwater welding.
What certifications will I earn?
Graduates earn certifications in underwater welding, non-destructive testing, HAZMAT diving, and ROV operations, all recognized nationally and internationally.
Is financial aid available?
Yes, we are approved for FAFSA and offer funding options for veterans and their families.
What facilities does Ocean Corp offer?
Our Houston campus includes dive tanks up to 24 feet deep, classrooms, and equipment for hands-on training in open water commercial diving and recompression chamber operations.
